Blood Pressure Holter

Call Center+30 210 866 3064

The Blood Pressure Holter (or 24-hour blood pressure recording) is a non-invasive method of measuring blood pressure for 24 hours, while the patient can continue his/her daily activities. In this way the cardiologist can check your blood pressure fluctuations during the day with great precision.

At HOSPITALity clinic, you will receive a comprehensive service from our cardiology department that includes the examination, the evaluation of the results and the finding of the appropriate treatment.

How does the pressure Holter work?

The examination is carried out using a device that consists of a cuff like classic blood pressure monitors and a central unit that the patient wears 24 hours a day.

These devices are capable of taking multiple blood pressure measurements without the intervention of the examiner or subject (i.e. automatically) at regular intervals during the day (usually every 15 minutes) and during the night (usually every 30 minutes). The measurement method is mostly the oscillometry technique, as in most "commercial" sphygmomanometers.
